MUSIC

This is the new space set up on my website that allows me to post frequently updated descriptions of some new and current projects.

Right now, I am mainly focusing on work with my quartet, and I'm about to get ready for a whole bunch of concerts in support of the new album, "Let It Come To You", which I'm really excited about. I'm also traveling quite a bit coming up as a duo with my good friend and one of the most innovative musicians on the planet, Julian Lage. It's been really fun to get to collaborate extensively with him, especially over the last few years. He's working on a really cool project nowadays as well, his first album as a leader. I have heard much of the music, and I definitely have to say that it's some of the most exciting and unique music that I have ever heard. After having such a fun time performing with the Peninsula Symphony in the Bay Area in January, I have decided to keep trying to write for bigger ensemble, and I'm always working on fragments that will hopefully become parts of a few different symphonic and larger ensemble works that I am trying to write. 

Recently, I'm also trying to make some new artwork, and I'll post some new art at some point. You can see some of the existing stuff by clicking the "Art" navigation link. I hope you dig some of the artwork 

Beyond those projects, I am trying to adjust to living in New York, and playing as much basketball as I can. My three-point shot is getting pretty deadly.....
